About Us

At Blissful Bakes by Meg, I specialise in creating bespoke buttercream cakes. Handcrafted locally in Bristol, every cake is baked and decorated in my small home bakery. Since starting the business, I’ve focused on creating cakes that taste just as good as they look - using quality ingredients and taking the time to perfect my recipes to get them just right. Every order is created with my customers in mind, bringing their ideas to life and making their special occasions that little bit sweeter.

About Me

I’m Meg, the owner, baker and decorator behind Blissful Bakes by Meg. I’ve had a love for baking ever since I was very young, always trying out new recipes whenever I got the chance. After making cakes for friends and family, and bringing cupcakes and bakes to the office for my colleagues, I could see my skills improving and was encouraged to take it further.

I love the creativity of cake design, especially anything with vintage-style piping and heart cakes - they’re my favourites to make. Hearing that I’ve nailed someone’s vision or that the cake tasted amazing is the best part of what I do.
